Many of us think of the 'fight, flight or freeze' response when thinking about what anxiety is. Or perhaps we have an image of someone shaking or blushing or having a panic attack when they feel anxious.
While all of these are true for anxiety, it's important to note that anxiety can present and 'come out' in many different ways. This is especially true for children and young people who might not understand what they are feeling/experiencing or find it tricky to describe what is going on for them.
