This week's #MondayMotivation is #MondayMoodles.

This week's #MondayMotivation is #MondayMoodles.

Moodles are little creative exercises you can do to become aware of feelings, reduce stress or anxiety, help you relax or feel better and much more.

Some people have a wee bit more time on their hands at the moment (I wish I did!), so engaging in some creative activites for mental health can really improve wellbeing and stress at the moment.

I've provided 4 Moodles to try below.

Give one or more of these a go and see how you get on... it might even help you feel a wee bit better.

Take care and have a good day, Alexandra

Moodle #1

'Write a break-up letter to your stress'

Moodle #2

'Oh no! Here comes your evil stress monster. Moodle it some wings and watch it fly away'.

Moodle #3

With everything that's going on with COVID-19 at the moment, it can be easy to slip into thinking about things we're not in control of at the moment, or the things that are not going right or perhaps focusing on feeling overwhelmed and stressed with everything, with no end in sight.
Try to moodle below to help you break things down into more manageable chunks and focus more.

Here's Moodle #3:

''Focus on the important details. Write or draw these inside the magnifying glass''.

Moodle #4

'You're at a crossroads in your life. Draw what's on the various paths you could go down'.

Focus on..... Binge Eating Disorder (BED)   Binge Eating Disorder or BED is often characterised by someone consuming very large amounts of food over short period of time, even if they are not hungry. BED is almost 2x as common in women than in men, although gender differences are less pronounced than in Anorexia Nervosa and Bulimia Nervosa. BED has been found is all cultures and ethnicities. BED was formally classified in 2014 as distinct Eating Disorder and now has formal classification in DSM-5. Keeping in mind that everyone experiencing BED is different and BED may present differently (we are all different and unique, after all!), some of the signs and symptoms of BED include: * Feeling out-of-control when eating during a binge episode. * Often hiding food (before it has been eaten or hiding empty packets a
