VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

 

I have two vacancies available at my 3 practices: Talking EDs: Eating Disorder Support Service Scotland; Glasgow Anxiety and Depression Counselling Service; and Citizen17 Therapy, CBT and Counselling Services

**** VACANCY 1

This is for our Talking EDs practice (specialising in eating disorders/disordered eating) and we are looling for Experienced Eating Disorder Psychotherapist/Counsellor/Psychologist. This is primarily for over 16s although experience with working with under 16s is an advantage as we do sometimes receive enquiries for under 16s. 

Although this is a specialist role in eating disorders, you will also receive referrals from our two other non-eating-disorder practices.

We are looking for someone who can work in-person at our offices in Glasgow city centre (although thre will be opportunity for some online work too). We also welcome applications for practittioners who can not access Glasgow but can see clients online. Anyone across the UK is welcome to apply for the online role. 

VACANCY 1 is NOT suitable for newly qualified practitioners or those with little or no experience of working in the field of eating disorders/disordered eating. Please do not apply if you don't have significant experience working with clients with eating disorders  - our clients are looking for those wo specialise in this. All therapeutic modalities are welcome.

Rate of pay:
* £33/session (weekday appointmente before 5pm)
* 41/session (weekday appointments after 5pm and weekends)
* Rates are £60/session for corporate clients and may be higher for some of our insurance clients.

Please note that client referrals are not guaranteed and may vary with seasonal fluctations and client preferences for certain appointment times, modalities etc. We are looking for someone who can offer at least 5 client appointments per week on a regular basis.

**** VACANCY 2: TRAINEE CBT THERAPIST

We are looking for a trainee CBT Therapist who is in their 2nd year (or about to start 2nd year) to see clients in-person at our offices in Glasgow city centre. You are responsible for securing your own clinical supervision, although we will be involved in your placement and offer regular support, check-ins and monitoring. You will also be invited to attend team meetings and support and supervision groups with other team members.

You will receive referrals from all 3 of our practices and will work with clients experiencing a range of concerns including anxiety, stress, depression, eating disorders/disordered eating, difficult emotions, relationship problems, and more.

This is non-renumerated; however, you will receive access to other opportunities at the practice; support; experience; a thank you gift when yo end your placement; you will be paid a small fee for attending the induction session; discounted supervision after qualifying; and more.
