It's Eating Disorders Awareness Week 2023!
Unfortunately, we are not in a position to do anything for it this year due to commitments elsewhere; however, it's still important to mention it.
The theme this year is eating disorders and disordered eating in those identifying as male. While many men still find it challenging to seek support for eating disorders (for a range of reasons), we are pleased to say that we have definitely seen more men seek support within our service in recent years. So, we hope that campaigns, such as #EDAW2023, are helping to break stereotypes and challenge the stigma of eating disorders.
We are here to support you, regardless of how you identify. Our therapists are experienced, skilled, encouraging, friendly and work alongside your needs and goals. There's no pressure and therapy goes at your pace.
You are welcome to get in touch. Our contact details are below.
If you are doing anything for #EDAW2023, please feel free to let us know too. The more awareness eating disorders receive, the better.
All the best,
Alexandra
