Looking for a therapy or consulting room to hire in Glasgow city centre? Come to our Open Afternoon on Sunday 5th March

OPEN AFTERNOON: THERAPY AND CONSULTING ROOM HIRE

We are excited to announce that we are hosting an Open Afternoon soon. So, if you are looking for a new therapy or consulting room to use, whether you are new to private practice or looking for a new or second location, you are welcome to come along. Booking details are below.

OPEN AFTERNOON
We will be hosting an Open Afternoon on Sunday 5th March 2023 between 11.30am and 1pm. This will give you the chance to come along and look at the rooms available. There is also the opportunity to ask any questions you may have.

HALF-PRICE ROOM HIRE
We are also offering 1/2 price room hire until Friday 31st March 2023. So, it will be £7 per hour for new Room Users until that date. It will return to full-price (£14) thereafter.

REGISTER AS A ROOM USER
You can register as a Room User before you view rooms, if you wish. This means that you can collect keys at the Open Afternoon, should you decide to go ahead and use the rooms. This will save you another trip to collect keys.

FREE CLINICAL SUPERVISION GROUP
We are also offering any new Room Users a free place at our next Support and Supervision Group (date to be confirmed) which is led by an experienced and qualified clinical supervisor who is also an accredited psychotherapist and trainer.

If you would like to attend the Open Afternoon, please RSVP via email with your full name and a mobile number (in case we need to contact you at the last minute) confirming your attendance. Please let us know which viewing slot suits too. We have the following slots remaining: 11.30am; 12noon; 12.15pm; 12.30pm; or 12.45pm. We will then send over the full address and directions.

Thanks for your time and if you need any more information or have any questions, please feel free to get in touch.

Best wishes,

Focus on.... Eating Disorder Not Otherwise Specified (or EDNOS)

Focus on.... EDNOS/OSFED Eating Disorder Not Otherwise Specified (or EDNOS) is now increasingly known as OSFED (Other Specified Feeding and Eating Disorder) accounts for the highest percentage of eating disorders. EDNOS/OSFED is just as serious and debilitating as any other form of eating disorder and needs to be taken more seriously. Unfortunately, however, in our experience, this is often not the case and many are not given appropriate treatment or support (whether from family, friends, professionals and others) and the condition can deteriorte and even change into another form of eating disorder. WANT TO KNOW MORE ABOUT EDNOS/OSFED? Then read on..... EDNOS/OSFED is the most commonly diagnosed eating disorder in clinical settings. It has often been described as ‘partial syndrome’; however, in our opinion, referring to an eating disorder as 'partial' presents several problems, namely that the client or patient is denied support. EDNOS/OSFED describes a form eating d...

So, it's really important to look after yourself during this awareness week and get some support, where possible, if needed. remember, we are here to support you too, wherever you are in the UK. This self-care or self-help exercise involves making a 'Safe Box' or 'Comfort Box'. Read about how to do this below. Make yourself a 'Safe Box' or a 'Comfort Kit'. This can be very useful during times of distress, overwhelm or when we feel under threat in some way (e.g. anxious, confusing feelings etc.) What you put in your box/kit is up to you; however it's purpose is to provide you with a 'go to...
