 Let's Talk!

Sometimes we all need someone to talk to - about the big and smaller things in life. Perhaps you need a listening ear and someone to talk to about life's struggles and stresses. Or perhaps you experience low mood, depression, anxiety, food/eating problems, OCD, BDD, self-harm etc. and other mental health issues. Or perhaps you need support with increasing confidence, self-esteem, relationships, assertiveness, stress etc.

If things are getting on top of you or you're struggling to cope, perhaps it's time to reach out for some help and support.

Our psychotherapy, counselling and dietitian services are provided by experienced, well-qualified therapists, counsellors and dietitians who tailor therapy to you and your needs and preferences at this time Therapists and dietitians encourage you to go at your own pace and to work towards your goals. EDNOS/OSFED is just as serious and debilitating as any other form of eating disorder and needs to be taken more seriously. Unfortunately, however, in our experience, this is often not the case and many are not given appropriate treatment or support (whether from family, friends, professionals and others) and the condition can deteriorte and even change into another form of eating disorder. Festive Stress

FESTIVE STRESS This time of year can be stressful for lots of different reasons: end of year work deadlines; preparing for the festive holiday season; the prospect of attending festive parties; meeting up with friends of family (especially those we don't get on with); financial strain; social expectations; children being at home for holidays; and lots more. It's a lot to take on in quite a small period of time, isn't it? Stress affects us in so many different ways - emotional, social, psychological, physical, health, work, relationships, spiritual - and can affect each person in different ways. The poster below illustrates some of these effects. Hope you find it useful. It's important to address stress as soon as you can before it gets worse and begins impacting on other areas of your life. Avoid this 'snowballing' as soon as you can by talking to a professional or accessing some help and support. We do close early next week for our own holiday break, but we
