Tips for Coping with the Festive Season

  The festive season...it can be tricky to navigate at times, can't it?   The upcoming festive holiday season can be a tricky time for many people. There might be financial concerns; the pressure to people-please or meet other people's expectations or demands; the strain of having to attend social occasions that make you feel uncomfortable; the stress on relationships and work; as well as the pressure to feel 'happy' and 'jolly' because it's the holiday season (even when we might actually feel sad, anxious, angry or overwhelmed inside). Sound familiar? Well, if it does, the poster below notes some strategies that might help you cope a little more through the festive season.   CALLING ALL PROFESSIONALS CLINICAL SUPERVISION AND CONSULT GROUP FOR EATING DISORDERS AND BODY IMAGE   NEXT GROUP: MONDAY 2ND DECEMBER 2024, 6-8PM, ONLINE    We are delighted to announce the next date of our Eating Disorders and Body Image Supervision and Consult Group.   This is clinical supervision and consult group (online) for therapists, counsellors, dietitians and others working within the field of eating disorders/disordered eating and body image. It isfaciliated by an accredited psychotherapist, qualified clinical supervisor and trainer withover 23 years of experience in this area.   The group is online so that as many as possible can access it.
